It was 2009, Brooke had received her Canadian visa and was juggling her job at a law firm and part time work at a bar called Lovelocks. Her trip was already planned out, she had a one year working holiday visa and this part time bar work was going to help her chances of finding work in Canada. One Saturday afternoon, Brooke got called by a colleague asking if she would cover their shift. Brooke agreed and as she walked into work, she noticed a young good looking guy amongst the regular older men that patroned the bar. The spark was instant, they flirted and dated for 2 months before Brooke moved to Canada. However, they kept in touch and knew there was something special between them and Brooke moved home to be with Steve 5 months later. The rest is history.
